PVP
We are currently undertaking a complete rewrite of both the server and client components.
On the client side, we are restructuring the battle system to support both PvP and Cooperative modes. Once the battle system is modularized and refactored, future Cooperative mode development will progress more efficiently compared to PvP.
On the server side, we are refactoring the legacy codebase. Recently, we completed several core features, including authentication, chat, character information retrieval, and room management. Our next focus will be on implementing the battle mechanics, followed by matchmaking and spectate functionalities.
The battle mechanics encompass turn calculations, item handling, talents, pets, skills, and Senjutsu effect computations.
Effect calculations will require additional time as they are being rebuilt from the ground up to ensure scalability and flexibility for future features, such as AOE support for Cooperative mode.
Unity
We have recently integrated the Addressables system, which optimizes the initial game download by excluding nonessential assets and downloading them dynamically during gameplay. This marks a significant milestone in our Unity development process, improving both loading efficiency and overall user experience.
The Clan features have been completed, and we are currently resolving minor bugs.
The Chunin and Jounin Exams are also finalized and fully functional.
